This is an inflammatory disease of the pancreas, which can occur both chronically and acutely. In patients, there is a violation of the outflow of pancreatic juice, so the enzymes contained in it do not enter the duodenum and remain in the organ. This causes the gradual destruction of the pancreas and can even be fatal. But a diagnosis is not a sentence. Adjust your diet and live a full life.
Each year, pancreatitis affects more and more people. If before this disease was considered an adult disease, now it even occurs in adolescents.
The reasons may be different, but some of the most common are alcohol abuse and gallstone disease, as well as improper and excessive nutrition. Diet with pancreatic pancreatitis is a prerequisite.
Alcoholic beverages, excessively fatty, fried and spicy foods, foods generously flavored with chemicals, sweets, fast food inevitably lead to digestive disorders and complicate the course of pancreatitis. That is why patients are shown a special diet.
Diet number 5 for pancreatitis
It is suitable for patients with chronic pancreatitis. Strict adherence to the principles of nutrition can relieve them from exacerbations. Patients with an acute form of the disease should be careful with their diet and follow the doctor's instructions. Most often, immediately after the attack, the patient is prescribed several days of fasting, after which he can gradually switch to this diet.
The main goal is to minimize inflammation in the pancreas and restore the production of pancreatic juice and essential enzymes, in other words, it can be called the optimal diet for exacerbation of pancreatitis.
